Then when I was 12, I got thrown into our 11 car as a last-minute backup co-driver, and since then have been jumping in multiple classes with so many talented drivers like; Cisco Bio (1118), Mario Alcala (1671), Abraham Gutierrez (1612), Jeremy Hendrickson (Class 11), Noah Johnson (1156), and Ashton Perfect (1610). This Powder Puff race will be my first race behind the wheel, and I am so excited to finally get out there and get the experience!

My first race was Powder Puff 2015 in class and 11, all the way into the last Powder Puff in 2018 in class nine. Since then I’ve raced class 5/1600 at the mint 400 a few times with podiums, and the California 300 with a podium. Ashlynn debuted her racing lifestyle in 2021 at the Baja 1000 in a class 11, and has been a stellar co-driver in class 11 in races like BAP, The Mint 400, Glen Helen, and King of the Hammers. She has been a solid inspiration to myself and so many others.

Racing Background: I started racing in 1984 with my husband in our Class 4 Dodge, he then built me a Class 9, then we acquired a single seat Class 10 and began racing it in 1999. I still race that car today with my current co-driver Kyle Davis who preps the 10 car. Just in the past few months I have been presented with an opportunity to start racing a Turbo Can Am. I’ve been very involved in all aspects of our sport. I’ve was the treasurer for SNORE 3 different times over the years for a total of about 16 years. My husband worked for Walt Lott at HDRA which put me marking courses, driving ESPN video photographers around to different spots on race days, working checkpoints & road crossings, cleaning courses as well as helping in the HDRA office and at registration. I also volunteer with BF Goodrich on the main pit semi truck doing all radio communications and timing. The upcoming 2024 Baja 1000 will be my 32nd year with BF Goodrich.
